Buenavista in Alaska

Mancha was the first dog that my husband and I got together.  She is a greyhound/Portuguese water dog mix that keeps us guessing by expressing many interesting qualities of each of her parent’s breed.  Mancha is the product of an artificial insemination mix up. This happy accident is the favorite fur kid of Buenavista and inspired us to get into hounds.  She is a wonderful lure courser, skijoring dog and most of all a great companion.

Mancha loves to go fishing and rafting with us on our beautiful Alaska rivers.

The greyhound in Mancha is obvious when you see her lure coursing.
